good things happen when i plan ahead
busy day of school, shopping, and homework is leaving me drained. not to mention all the muscles in my body is screaming with agony.. last night my arm almost cramped just from typing on my keyboard because it was so fatigued (thanks common ground :D).
but i realized i needed to get my schoolwork together if i were to have a nice relaxing birthday weekend. so today i set a schedule for myself: i napped from 6 to 9 and tried my very best to finish my 16 page paper from 9 to 3. it’s 3:12am now and i am proud to say i only have about a page and a half left of my paper to write!
i hope to get a (hopefully) non-interrupted 8 hours of sleep before my birthday weekend begins. seriously can’t wait for tomorrow!

Caddis fly larvae are known to incorporate bits of whatever they can find into their cocoons, be it fish bone or bits of leaves. Hubert Duprat gave them gold, turquoise, gems and pearls.

UO package finally came in the mail (wearing my mustard cardigan as i type)
my favorite of the four items i purchased is this necklace. the chain is a little shorter than i thought—with the necklace only reaching my collarbone—but i can’t wait to wear it out!
the nail polish is from forever21. i’ve been looking for a mint nail polish for months now. my only complaint is that it comes off too easily. :(
Quidditch World Cup Coming to NYC
Next weekend, more than 60 different teams from high schools and universities across the country are expected to gather at De Witt Clinton Park in New York City for the fourth annual Quidditch World Cup.
Harvard University, M.I.T, Yale, Penn State, Duke — several prestigious universities are registered for the World Cup and count quidditch among their extracurricular activities.

when i start sketching, painting, or brainstorming i feel like there’s never enough hours in a day. usually, once i’m on a roll i can’t bring myself to stop in fear of losing that one spark of inspiration that kept me going in the first place. this is probably the reason for the permanent dark circles under my eyes.
these stamps made of marble? jade? each features a hand carved animal from the chinese zodiac.since these are the cheaper ones the emblem is of the chinese character of the animal that is carved onto it while the more expensive ones are customizable.
